Yes. Unlike many brands that offer only a 1-year warranty, Lepro provides an extended 3-year warranty for the E1 light strings, starting from October 1, 2025.

Please note that the power supply carries a 1-year warranty. Under normal conditions — as long as it isn’t exposed to extreme weather or direct water — it’s designed to deliver reliable performance for a long time.

Yes. The Lepro E1 Permanent Outdoor Lights are designed for year-round outdoor use and come with solid waterproof protection:

E1 150ft version:
Power adapter: IP67;
In-line controller: IP65;
Light strings: IP65;
Operating temperature: -4℉ to 140℉ (-20°C to 60°C).

E1 50ft / 100ft versions:
Light kits, in-line controller, wires, and connectors: IP65;
Power adapter: Not waterproof — please ensure it’s connected to a power outlet inside an enclosed electrical box for protection;
Operating temperature: -4℉ to 140℉ (-20°C to 60°C).

Note: IP65 means the product is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. 
IP67 provides an even higher level of protection — it’s dust-tight and can withstand temporary immersion in water (up to 1 meter for 30 minutes).

Absolutely! After installation, you can use the Group Control feature in the Lepro App. Just group the two E1 sets together and choose the lighting effect you want — both sets will run in full sync with the same colors and animations.

Yes. The Lepro E1 lights are designed with flexible splice and extension options to fit different installation needs:

- 50ft sets can be extended up to 75ft.
- 100ft sets can be extended up to 125ft.
- 150ft sets cannot be extended with additional light strings, but you can still use splice cables to bridge gaps where no lights are needed (for example, between the first and second floors).

This design allows for easier installation across various rooflines and layouts while maintaining a clean, continuous lighting effect.

We understand that most permanent outdoor lights are installed to enhance holiday vibes, everyday accents, or game-day celebrations. That’s why we’ve specially upgraded our AI lighting model – LightGPM – to its 4th generation.

With LightGPM 4.0, you can easily create unique, personalized lighting effects — not just the same preset patterns everyone else has. Whether through voice commands, text prompts, or even a photo (like a spooky Halloween image), the system can instantly generate stunning, dynamic light displays tailored just for you.

This design allows for easier installation across various rooflines and layouts while maintaining a clean, continuous lighting effect.

Currently, the E1 light string cannot be cut or trimmed to shorten it, as this may affect performance. If you need to adjust the installation distance, we recommend folding or looping the extra length neatly to fit your layout. 

However, if you plan to cut the strip in the middle and reconnect both ends using an extension cable or an additional light string, this setup is supported. Please note that cutting off and discarding one end entirely is not recommended, as it may impact the overall functionality of the product.

All standard E1 sets — 50 ft / 100 ft / 150 ft — already include a 10 ft extension cable in the box.The 150 ft + 20 ft extension cable bundle is simply an optional add-on for customers who need a longer reach. You can choose the version that best fits your installation needs.

Yes. The Lepro E1 light strings use WS2811 IC chips and support 24V–30V DC input, making them technically compatible with WLED systems.

For advanced users, you can connect the lights to a WLED controller for custom DIY lighting effects.

(Note: The Lepro kit includes its own controller and 29V adapter. A separate 24V WLED controller and 24V power supply are required for WLED integration.)

Our original Lepro adapter outputs 29V for optimal brightness and long-distance stability. However, most WLED controllers are designed for 24V or lower.

To ensure safe and stable operation, please use a 24V power supply when connecting Lepro E1 to a WLED system.

Different E1 kit lengths come with separate power supplies and controllers, and they cannot be combined into a single plug.Each power supply is designed to handle a specific maximum load to ensure stable brightness and safe operation.

50 ft kit — 29 V / 0.82 A, includes 2 strings (connect up to 3 strings max);
100 ft kit — 29 V / 1.24 A, includes 4 strings (connect up to 5 strings max);
150 ft kit — 29 V / 1.65 A, includes 6 strings (connect up to 6 strings max).

If you need to cover a larger roofline, we recommend installing multiple sets using their own controllers and power supplies for best performance.

Yes. The Lepro E1 AI-Powered Permanent Outdoor Lights include a built-in timer feature. You can easily set schedules in the Lepro App to automatically turn the lights on or off at specific times — perfect for daily routines or holiday lighting.
