What are LED Parking Lot Lights?
LED parking lot lights are LED lighting fixtures often found in parking lots and alongside streets requiring night-round illumination. Sometimes they are, therefore, referred to as LED streetlights. Common LED parking lot lights include Shoebox Lights, LED Post Top Lights and LED Cobra Head Lights. Shoebox light is widely used in wide outdoor venues due to its amazing energy efficiency and substantial lighting range.
What are the Different Types of LED Street Light Distribution?

Type I
Type I was designed with the illumination of sidewalks, footpaths and walkways in mind. Usually installed close to paths and with a preferred lateral width of 15° at maximum luminosity, Type I utilizes a two-way lighting distribution.
Type II
Type II is primarily used for lighting ramps, entrance lanes, sidewalks as well as other, narrow paths. The lighting distribution system is perfect for illuminating large or open places. 25 degrees is the recommended lateral width of Type II. Type II is frequently found by or near the side of narrow roads or paths with a street width of less than 1.75x the considered height of mounting. For instance, for street widths less than 7m (23ft), a 4m (13ft) mounting pole would be perfect.
Type III
Medium-sized roadways or sites where the width does not surpass 2.75x the mountain height are perfect for Type III lighting distributions. For instance, a 4m (13ft) mounting pole would be suitable for street widths less than 11m in size (36ft). Therefore, streets, parking lots and other large areas are where Type III excels at illumination. The lateral width that is commonly recommended for Type IIIs is 40°.
Type IV
For Type IV systems, the preferred lateral width is 60 degrees. Frequently utilized to light wide roads, perimeters of parking garages and businesses, these distribution systems produce a rounded arc of light and so are usually mounted to the sides of buildings and walls. It is only important to remember that the width should not exceed 3.7x the mounting height. For instance, a 4m (13ft) mounting pole should be combined with street widths less of than 14.8m (48.5ft).
Type V
Type V is evenly bright from all angles, thanks to the type’s 360-degree illumination capability. This means Type V distribution systems are incredibly compatible with highways, four-way stops or parkways. No matter where you stand, type V has a symmetry of luminosity and remains fairly consistent.

Where are LED Parking Lot Lights Used?
LED parking lot lights are primarily used in outdoor commercial settings, often to illuminate parking lots, streets, etc. They are also very common in 24-hour locations that require good lighting conditions, such as commercial centers, campuses, squares, hospitals, and residential areas, etc.
Why Choose LED Parking Lot Lights?
Provide adequate lighting for a parking lot setting
LED Parking Lot Lights provide more than adequate lighting for any parking lot setting. The output brightness of the 300W LED parking lot lights is 39,000 lumens, which is equivalent to an extremely high brightness and visibility. Any road signs will be seen clearly at night and through any weather conditions.
High luminous efficiency
Lepro 300W LED streetlights are equivalent to 1000W Metal Halide lights, significantly reducing energy consumption and saving electricity costs.
Good durability
Compared with other lamps, LED lamps are highly durable. They also do not generate stroboscopic effects, protecting human eyesight. In addition, the protection level of LED shoebox lights is usually IP65, meaning they are entirely suitable for outdoor use and will weather any climate, including rain and snow.
How to Install LED Parking Lot Light?
Step 1. Loosen adapter plate and rubber gasket.
Step 2. Fix to the square or round pole bracket with bolt.
Step 3. Connect the power wire to the pole wire.
